SemTalk Services Navigation
Use the<Sidebar> command
to turn on or off the Sidebar
view that shows the content
details, properties, search, and
navigation features for the
model or for individual model
elements.
Model Navigation in SemTalk Services
Open the model navigation
Explorer via the "Diagrams" button
All models are displayed in the
Explorer according to their type
and hierarchical structure.
Select the Diagram to display it in
the Portal.
Model Navigation in SemTalk Services
Jump to shown entries/
refinements by selecting an
object.
If an object is not
defined/refined, object
properties are displayed in the
Details area.
Model Navigation in SemTalk Services
The tab Diagram found in the
Details pane, allows you to view
and navigate directly upstream
or downstream from your
currently opened diagram.
Alternatively, you can also
display the Diagrams as pop-
ups by selecting the Diagram
entry located in the command
bar.
Model Properties in SemTalk Services
When you select an object in
the model, corresponding
properties are displayed in
the Details pane.
This includes comments, other
connected objects, such as
human resources or systems
Alternatively, you can display
the properties as a pop-up
by using the command bar
and selecting "Properties".
The “…” Command Bar in SemTalk Services
Because SemTalk Services
has such rich functionality,
many functions will be found
in the “…” section of the
Command Bar.
Link Documents and Picture from SharePoint to
Objects in SemTalk Services
If you have stored
documents or images in a
SharePoint Library, you can
link them to objects in the
models and display them in
the portal.
Alternatively, you can display
screenshots using the
command bar entry "...". ->
"Screenshots", which will be
displayed as a pop-up.
Show SharePoint Wiki Content on Objects With
SemTalk Services
If you have created and
maintained a wiki library in
SharePoint, SemTalk Services can
link wiki content with objects that
are displayed in the portal.
Alternatively, via the command bar
entry "...". -> "Wiki", as a pop-up.
Model Navigation in SemTalk Services
If you want to share a specific
model or information about an
object with a colleague or other
user, you can use this function
to share the object. You can do
this via the tab "Share".
Here you can create a link to the
item, PDF or QR Code and
send/copy/print
Alternatively, you can open the
item you want to share using
the command bar entry "...". ->
"Share", displayed as pop-up.
Using Search in SemTalk Services
The "Search" entry in the
Command Bar allows you to
search for and navigate to
elements in all models.
Additionally you can
integrate the SharePoint
search and search for items
in the SharePoint.
Model Object Structure in SemTalk Services
SemTalk models contain an
object structure, i.e. all
elements are also stored in a
structured way that can be
displayed in an Object
Explorer.
Open this Explorer by clicking
on the "Objects" button in
the command bar.
Show Structured Model Content in SemTalk
Services
If you want to display an
overview of all functions of
the opened model and their
assigned Human Resources,
as well as the corresponding
Comments, you can do this
via "...". -> Display "Process
table".
Further information, such as
attachments, etc. can also be
displayed.

Display only the element with its

Planner Integration
You can create corresponding
Planner Buckets and Tasks from
the models.
These Tasks are connected to
the portal.
They can be displayed in the
portal. Alternatively, you can
jump from the Planner task
directly to the portal.
SharePoint Listen Integration
You can connect the portal to
SharePoint Lists and view
existing entries in the portal or
you can add new entries into
SharePoint via the portal. (e.g.
Issues)
Graph Integration
The SemTalk Services Portal can
integrate information from Graph and
Delve.

Model evaluations of all
models can be defined and
made available to portal users.
